About Me
Well, i never know what to tell on this stuff...
I'm french, 25years old (already.. O_O), and i'm currently studying how to make movies (writing the scenario, draw the storyboard, find the places we want for shooting, see how much it would cost, find the actors, use the 16mm camera, and make the final cut after shooting! Then watch the movie and win the award! LOL) in Belgium.
That's my first year in here and despite the fact that we are too much in class (more than 200people...), and that the first year is the most difficult because they want us to be only 70 next year, it's a great fun! I'm learning a lot about how the movies are made, which are the "cults" ones which inspired all that we have now, and how to analyse all the images we see today. Very very interesting i can tell ya! :D
So, of course, i spend a LOT of time in movies theater.. sometimes i can watch 4 movies over there in a day. (Oh well, call me "crazy" !LOL! But i can't fight that, i'm a moviesaddict!) and i like all kind of movies, from the big american blockbuster like, i don't know, Pirates of The Carabbeans; to the small corean production like "spring, summer, automn, winter and spring again." ... Well.. guess i can be classified as a "movies geek", or something like that.
After that, i'm fond of writing, i write a lot of stories, shorts one for the moment.. Hope one day i could direct them as movies!
I also looove listening music, could'nt live without.. All kind of music. Maybe not so much of r'nb or hip hop stuff, but sometimes it can be on my playlist :P My favourite anime music comes from Mononoke Princess (makes me cry everytime i hear it...Can't hold it...), Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne (Yokko Kano is a genious!), Samouraï Samploo (so coool), and OST composed by Kenji Kawaï (also a genious!).
Reading of course! Books, comics, and "mangas". For the last one, i had the chance to work in a manga shop for 2 years, so i had the opportunity to read them all for free :D Great time! And it helped me to make my choice for my favourites mangas and authors ;)
So the first of them all is Tsukasa Hôjô, with City Hunter! Hilarious! And so beautiful in the drawing (especially after number 31...). I love it. Then comes Yukito Kishiro for Gunnm, which is amazing for the psychology of his main character Gally!
Then comes Naoki Urasawa, with Monster and 20th Century Boys.. No doubt he writes the best scenarii i've ever read in mangas! And his style is so nice to look at!
I love traveling also. I guess i got the traveling virus with my parents first (they made us travel in all France -yes i'm French, and for american people, France looks small, but i can assure you there is a LOT of differents places to see!), and then from my first travel by myself which was in Scotland. I fell in love with this country and i can't get rid of the will to go back there!
And i spent one year in Denmark in 2004. Great time also, but a little annoying sometimes (it was for work..) ;P
... Pretty long for someone who didn't know what to tell.... LOOOL
I'm sorry for the babbling.. Promise, i stop now. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
